Building Spaces Where Every Child Can Thrive

Children with Abilities Network (CAN) is an organization committed to empowering children with disabilities by nurturing their abilities, advocating for inclusive opportunities, and fostering environments where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

We believe that every child deserves to be seen, valued, and supported. Through collaboration with families, communities, educators, and partners, CAN works to create practical pathways toward dignity, belonging, and meaningful opportunity.

A world where every child with a disability is celebrated for their abilities

We envision a society where children with disabilities are supported holistically, included fully, and empowered to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Turning inclusion into real support and opportunity

To empower children with disabilities by nurturing their abilities, advocating for inclusive opportunities, and fostering environments where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Principles That Guide Our Work

Everything we do is shaped by values that put children, dignity, and inclusion at the center of our work.

Inclusion

We believe every child deserves to participate fully in family, school, and community life.

Dignity

We affirm the worth of every child and promote environments where they are respected and valued.

Empowerment

We focus on abilities, growth, confidence, and creating opportunities that help children thrive.

Compassion

We approach children, families, and communities with care, empathy, and understanding.

Advocacy

We challenge stigma, raise awareness, and speak up for more inclusive systems and opportunities.

Collaboration

We believe meaningful change happens when families, communities, and partners work together.

Because Exclusion Should Never Define a Child’s Future

Too many children with disabilities still face exclusion, stigma, and limited access to the support they need. CAN exists to challenge that reality by building systems of support, raising awareness, and creating opportunities that allow children to live with confidence, dignity, and purpose.

We are not here to simply speak about inclusion. We are here to help make it practical, visible, and real in the lives of children and the communities around them.

Support

Creating practical pathways for children and families.

Awareness

Challenging harmful stigma through education and advocacy.

Opportunity

Expanding spaces where children can learn, belong, and grow.

Impact

Working toward long-term change that improves real lives.

Help Us Create a More Inclusive Future

CAN believes that every child deserves support, opportunity, and the freedom to thrive. Stand with us as we build a more inclusive and compassionate society.
